Man Charged in Pastor’s Murder Claims to Be Demon Killer
The man was seeking counseling for voices in his head when he reportedly asphyxiated the pastor trying to help him.
Roland Zinneh of Pennsylvania has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of pastor Connery Dagadu of Maryland.
Reports say Zinneh believed Dagadu was demon possessed, and when police tried to drag him from the scene, he yelled, “Demons! I kill demons!”
Zinneh asked Dagadu to help him pray over the “voices” in his own head. Patch reports that sometime during the prayer meeting, Zinneh was convinced it was Dagadu, instead, who had the demons, and began to attack him.
Dagadu operated World Impact Center from a rented basement. When the homeowner heard the commotion below her, she went to the scene and found Dagadu unresponsive.
When police arrived, Zinneh was pacing and shouting, and reportedly broke a window when they approached him.
Zinneh is now being held without bond.
The days leading up to the murder, Zinneh took to Facebook to talk about the Lord.
“TO ALL MY KRAHN PEOPLE IF YOU ARE INTO WITCHCRAFT OR THE DEVIL REPENT NOW OR BE KILLED BY THE HOLY GHOST FIRE,” he posted.
On the actual day of the murder, he posted, “THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING. REPENT NOW OR ELSE. SUNDAY IS THE DEAD LINE. THE FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY SAID NO EVIL. ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD AND THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD.”
“GOD IS REAL. BUT BE CAREFUL WHICH one you serve. He has saved me. I serve the God of all gods, the most high one. now all I have to do is obey him and protect myself from evils. Thank you my God,” reads another post.
