Has God Revealed that Homosexuality is OK? This General Has a Quick Response
Despite abundant evidence in both the Old and—yes, the New—Testaments that homosexuality is considered a form of sexual immorality, a surprising number of Christians have come to believe it is not a sin. This number includes not a few pastors.
Sometimes, they try to come up with an argument—often an argument from silence, claiming that Jesus said nothing about homosexuality or gay “marriage.”
But in this video Gen. Jerry Boykin, the executive vice president of the Family Research Center, says what we all know: Often, people claim this new moral teaching came as part of a charismatic experience. Gen. Boykin said many have told him, “God revealed it to me.”
One of those is former president Jimmy Carter, who said this summer that Jesus would approve of homosexual relationships. “I don’t have any verse in Scripture,” the failed former president said. “That’s just my own personal belief.”
What do you say to people like that, who have jettisoned all use of their brain and other rational faculties?
Gen. Boykin has a simple answer: “You’re a fool!”
Here is the general’s forthright response.
