College Kicks Out Student for Posting Photo of Leviticus 20 on Facebook

A postgraduate student posted a Scripture on his Facebook page, only to have his college expel him from his courses, several sources report.

Felix Ngole, 38, reportedly posted a photo of Leviticus 20 on his Facebook timeline in support of Kim Davis.

Two months later, his college expelled the second-year master’s student from his courses, effectively ending his academic career.

“My beliefs about marriage and sexual ethics reflect mainstream, biblical understanding, shared by millions around the world. Simply expressing that understanding, in a personal capacity, on my Facebook page, cannot be allowed to become a bar to serving and helping others in a professional capacity as a social worker,” the father of four said.

The Telegraph reports that Ngole sought asylum in the U.K. from Cameroon in 2003. In that time, he earned multiple degrees.

Christian Legal Centre represents Ngole as he appeals the expulsion.

“Sadly, this is yet another case of Christians being ‘neutered’ in the public arena, and of censorship of views,” Chief Executive Andrea Williams tells The Independent
