Thursday, the Ted Cruz for President campaign announced some great news for its supporters.

First, it announced several former national finance committee members of the Jeb Bush presidential campaign have joined the Texas senator’s national finance committee. The following are the new members of the Cruz national finance team:

  • Paul Dickerson – Houston, Texas
  • Boyden Gray – Washington, D.C.
  • Charles Foster – Houston, Texas
  • Reginald J. Brown – Washington, D.C.
  • Paula and Jim Henry – Midland, Texas
  • Nancy and Randy Best – Dallas, Texas

“I am excited to welcome this outstanding new group to our finance team,” Cruz said. “They arrive at a pivotal time for our campaign, as the field is winnowing down to a two-person race. I am honored to have such an impressive committee. It is yet another sign that conservatives are coalescing behind our campaign.”

The Cruz camp also announced it shattered its February fundraising goals with nearly $12 million raised, making it their biggest fundraising month of the campaign cycle. That brings the campaign’s cumulative total to more than $66 million raised to date.

To date, the campaign has collected 225,000 donations, with an average of $52 per donation.
