Candace Cameron Bure: You’re Not Representing Jesus Well
Not happy with Candace Cameron Bure’s performance on Fuller House? Keep your comments to yourself.
Think nay-sayers should be put in their place and comment as much? The same sentiment applies, according to a recent post on Bure’s Instagram.
“This is getting ridiculous!! STOP (stop emoji) having religious debates about me and my family on my comments thread after EVERY single photo I post when they have nothing to do with the picture!” Bure posted.
“If someone makes a rude or negative comment, ignore it! You’re feeding and driving the negativity. This is NOT productive or respectful conversation. And I’m talking to BOTH sides! It’s getting old and downright ugly. This does not represent Jesus well. Let’s encourage one another as well as take the debates to a private page. Please and thank you,” Bure concluded.

The star’s Instagram has been a recent hotbed of back-and-forth between fans and critics, all too happy to dispute Bure’s Christian values, particularly in regards to her new series.
“@candacecbure this show was such a disappointment and so inappropriate for my kids who waited for weeks to watch this. So bummed,” one fan commented on Bure’s Instagram.
Another posted: “Our family was very disappointed. We were looking forward to it, because we watch the reruns with my daughter every night. Needless to say, we won’t be watching it as a family.#fullerhouseletdown”
Days before the show launched, Bure posted a photo with co-stars Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber with the trio all dolled up. Bure’s ensemble was significantly shorter than her co-stars’, causing a commenting uproar.
“Seriously though! I am so sad! I thought @Candacecbure stands up for Christian values?!?! This makes me so sad. I can’t let my kids watch this, is this how you dress?” one fan commented on the since-deleted photo.
