David Wilkerson’s Spine-Chilling Last Message to the American Church
David Wilkerson opens this end-times warning message with a heartfelt prayer to the Lord in a tone that convinces me he believes every word he said. Then he reads 2 Peter 3:9-14:
“The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat. The earth also and the works that are in it will be burned up.
“Seeing then that all these things are to be destroyed, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, while you are waiting for and desiring the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will be consumed by intense heat? But, according to His promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these things, be diligent that you may be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless.”

Wilkerson goes on to speak of a “noted televangelist” who gave a shocking warning to the United States. He called him a “respected” man we know and who is warning America that there’s coming a catastrophe that’s going to cost the lives of multitudes and change the way we live forever. He also pointed to many praying pastors who prophesied along these lines.
“Something is coming shortly; something coming soon and we had better be prepared,” Wilkerson said.
Do you bear witness with these words? What should be our response? As for me, I’m believing for another Great Awakening.
