Democrats Demonstrate Pure Lunacy Through the House’s Equality Act

Last week, all but one Democrat Representative in Congress voted to approve H.R. 5, “The Equality Act.”

The lunacy of this Democrat-legislation is alarming and could negatively affect female sports for generations to come. It denies acknowledged reality from all of human history and the “established science” of modern history that only two sexes—male and female—exist in the human race.

In the name of “equality,” this Democrat bill claims (without any scientific evidence) that physically there is no difference between biological boys and girls. It will force schools to allow biological males to join all-female sports teams and compete against biological female-athletes.

In an editorial last week in The Washington Post, three current or former female athletes—Doriane Coleman, Martina Navratilova and Sanya Richards-Ross—asserted the Democrat’s bill would make it “unlawful to differentiate among girls and women in sports on the basis of sex for any purpose.” Navratilova is a lesbian, and her stance has drawn loud criticism from the LGBTQ community.

The three female athletes stated: “The evidence is unequivocal that starting in puberty, in every sport except sailing, shooting and riding, there will always be significant numbers of boys and men who would beat the best girls and women in head-to-head competition. Claims to the contrary are simply a denial of science.”

There is nothing equal in pitting biological boys against biological girls. God made us male or female and, no matter our own feelings or dysphoria, we should act and legislate in accordance with the biological reality of God’s wise design.

The irresponsible, so-called “Equality Act” now goes to the U.S. Senate, where it is doubtful it will even be voted on in the Republican-controlled entity. This time!

However, we can be sure that our two liberal California Senators Feinstein and Harris will push for it and presidential candidates will debate it!

The binary genders of the human race are God’s idea. When He created the first human pair in His image, He created them with the gendered categories of men and women; male and female (Gen. 1:27)—one or the other, not both. Chromosomes don’t lie, nor are they confused.

This created pair of individuals may express their biological masculinity and femininity in varied and diverse ways, according to their unique physical and emotional makeup. These gendered expressions are neither identical nor interchangeable but essential to God’s creation plan.

Scripture reveals that He made the woman to be a compliment and help to the man (Gen. 2:18-22). When the woman, who was taken out of man, joins again with the man in sexual union, the two become one flesh (Gen. 1:23-24 and Matt. 19:4-6). They are biologically and emotionally equipped to fulfill a mutually-complementary and covenantal relationship before their Creator-God (Eph. 5:21-33).

The Bible’s assumed equivalence between the biology of sexual difference and the corresponding gender identities of male and female is to be embraced as divine design.

This is why males and females are (uniquely) equipped to physically reproduce (Gen. 1:28; 2:20). It’s why homosexuality—a man lying with a man as with a woman (Lev. 18:22)—is condemned. It’s why the apostle Paul challenges homosexual partnerships as deviating from the natural relations or natural function of male-female sexual intercourse (Rom. 1:26-27), as designed and ordained by our Creator God.

The practiced confusion of these created gender-realities is displeasing to God. The Bible clearly teaches that men should not act sexually as women (Lev. 18:22, Rom. 1:18-32, 1 Cor. 6:9-10), dress like women (Deut. 22:5) and that when men and women embrace and approve obviously other-gendered expressions of identity, it is a disgrace (1 Cor. 11:14-15).

We do not have an inalienable right to do whatever we want with our physical selves. Believers belong to God and should glorify Him in our bodies and in our spirits, which belong to God (1 Cor. 6:12-20).

The apostle Paul taught that God’s wrath is revealed against those “who suppress the truth through unrighteousness” (Rom. 1:18b).

Tampering with God’s created order does not go well—whether for common sinners or politicized legislators!
