Witches Who Support Democrat Candidate Marianne Williamson Create ‘Occult Task Force’
A group of witches who support Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson created an “occult task force.”
An anonymous source told The Washington Post that 13 “witches, chaos magicians and energy workers” did “gestures” in an effort to get Williamson more speaking time in last night’s Democratic presidential debate.
“The whole orb gang community is tapping into the power of memes to reflect back on, and multiply, the sort of pulsing undercurrents of our collective unconscious,” the source told the Post.
But Williamson’s campaign is not so thrilled with the supernatural support.
“I am very, very concerned about the word ‘occultist,'” says campaign spokeswoman Patricia Ewing.
In Tuesday night’s debate, Williamson used New Age verbiage to describe Trump’s effect on the nation.
“This is part of the dark underbelly of American society, the racism, the bigotry, and the entire conversation that we’re having here tonight,” she said. “If you think any of this wonkiness is going to deal with this dark psychic force of the collectivized hatred that this president is bringing up in this country, then I’m afraid that the Democrats are going to see some very dark days.”
Williamson later tweeted her quote with a video clip of that moment:
