A suspicious package was found in a church yesterday, but police found it was a “fake incendiary device.”

Members of Zionsville Presbyterian Church in Zionsville, Indiana, found the package in the church’s break room on top of a refrigerator. Church members told police they noticed a woman acting strangely who left the church service abruptly.

Bomb dogs checked for any other suspicious devices in the church, according to the Zionsville Police Department’s Facebook page.

Police say the package contained a glass jar filled with liquid and a cellphone wrapped in newspaper material. They believe the device was intended to be a hoax.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
