Prophetic Word: ‘I Am Opening Doors for Kingdom Advancement’

I was recently praying for many people I know who are right on the verge of breakthrough. As I was praying and interceding for these individuals, I heard the Lord say, “I am opening doors for kingdom advancement.”

Many times, when we know we are going to shift into a new season or step into something new with God, we become excited. We are immediately excited about the promise but we must continue to seek revelation from the Lord so we can share what He is doing and speaking to us with others. Any door God opens is not only for you. It is also for others and for the kingdom of God to be advanced. Whenever God opens a door, remember it is not just about you; it is about the kingdom of God!

God is taking your talents and abilities in this season and He will not only use them to bless you, but also to bless others. Everything we do is not for ourselves; it is for the kingdom of God! Whenever God wants to open a door for us, our selfish ambition will keep the door from opening.

I remember many years ago, I was praying that God would give me the next great revelation to preach. I wanted to be well known and seen by others. The Lord spoke to me and said, “You do ministry as much for yourself as you do for Me.” I was shocked and convicted. In that season, I learned to decrease so that God could increase. I learned how to humble myself and never take advantage of what God was doing in my life. Arrogance and pride will keep us from walking through open doors. God will not promote someone who will not use the open door for His kingdom. God opens doors for us so that we can bless others.

Whenever you feel that God is about to elevate you, you need to go on a fast. Whenever God is advancing you, bringing increase or promoting you, you have to be intentional to set yourself apart for fasting and prayer. If God opens a door and we walk through it in the flesh, God will not get the glory.

Without humility and the revelation that we can do nothing without God, we will misuse what God opens to us. Fasting and prayer will keep us humble, teaching us to die daily to our flesh and to walk with God with a pure heart. Fasting will put to death any selfish ambition in our lives.

God is about to use you in a mighty way! However, know that when doors open for you, God is the one opening the door. No matter how much God uses or blesses you, don’t forget it is not just for you! God will bless you so that you can be a vessel He can pour out blessing through. Doors are opening for kingdom advancement and those who want to see the kingdom of God advanced will walk through them! {eoa}
