WATCH: Rap Artist Lecrae, John Legend Cry Out to God in New Song, ‘Drown’
Top Christian rap artist Lecrae released a single from his upcoming album, Restoration, this week. The song “Drown,” Lecrae wrote on Twitter, “is about being in a low place and calling on God in the midst of it” and also features Grammy-award winning singer and popular The Voice judge John Legend.

Although Legend doesn’t appear in the video, the words he sings represent a cry for help to God during the hard times showcased in scene after scene of the video: “Tell me that You’ll never let me down/ Cause You’re my final breath before I drown,” the chorus repeats.
