Curt Landry: Miraculous Doors for Peace Open in the Middle East
Rabbi Curt Landry is very familiar with the internal events in the state of Israel in these tumultuous times. And he’s well aware of the history being made—prolific and important events that the secular media refuse to bring to light.
The accord signed last week between Israel and the United Arab Emirates—overseen by U.S. President Donald Trump—was not simply a historic event. Landry says it’s one that has been in the works for three years and will not only bring peace between the two nations but also make way for other Middle Eastern countries to negotiate similar deals with Israel.
“You’ve got to realize that this is the first time in 25 years that we’ve had such a peace deal,” Landry told me on a recent episode of God, Trump and the 2020 Election. “The Obama administration had put so much of a strain in that area that as soon as Trump got elected in 2016, these other Arab nations started to negotiate peace deals with Israel. So, this has been going on for quite some time, but it is absolutely historic. … it’s opening doors to Saudi Arabia and others.
“In 1979, you had peace initiatives with Egypt and, in 1994, you had one with Jordan. So this is not only going to be historic, but it’s going to bring peace and an acceleration in the economies of that area. The only people opposing it are the Iranians, the Palestinians, Hezbollah and other terrorist groups.”
Not only does Landry see the accord between Israel and UAE as steady progress, he refers to it as a real “miracle.”
“It’s very timely,” says Landry, founder of Curt Landry Ministries. “Everyone should be so happy about this. Let’s back up into all of our history. We have Adam and Eve in the Garden, and the covenant is broken. And then God decides He’s going to renew covenant with mankind. So you go to Genesis 12, chapter 1, and ‘the Lord said to Abram, get out of your country from your family, from your father’s house to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation and I will bless you.’
“So God Himself, HaShem, says, ‘I will put Abraham’s seed in this land, and you will become great.’ And the only great nation that has ever been in the last 70 years, and has prospered in this desert land, has been the Jewish people. …
“But here’s the key of what people need to understand right now, even in their political decisions. It says, ‘I will bless those who bless you’ speaking of the seed of Abraham, Israel, and ‘I will curse those who curse you.’ And just like with being pro-life, it says, ‘all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ All of the families in the United States of America shall be blessed when the nation of the United States and the administration choose to activate what I call the Genesis 12:3 blessing. So, when we have an outstanding president like Donald J. Trump actually doing things to bless the nation of Israel, recognize it and protect it and stand with it, it brings a blessing to all the families of the United States.”
Trump, of course, has been a staunch ally of Israel since taking office in January 2017, perhaps the biggest U.S. presidential ally of Israel in history. On the 70th anniversary of the founding of the state of Israel in 2018, Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, something many presidents before him ignored or simply refused to do. He promised he would, and he kept his word.
But Landry says there are many other things President Trump has done to bless the nation of Israel in his nearly four years in office, ones Landry says “will bring that Genesis 12:3 blessing into the atmosphere.” He reminds listeners that President Trump:
—Immediately withdrew from the disastrous joint comprehensive plan of action, a nuclear deal with Iran.
— Continuously imposed numerous U.S. sanctions in the program against Iran.
—Officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, which Landry says is the greatest crown and prize in his administration, and moved the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
—Signed the Taylor Force Act, named after the U.S. Army officer slain by Palestinian terrorists while visiting Tel Aviv, into law. This ensured that U.S. funds would not be used to pay terrorists or their families for the vicious acts of maiming and murdering Americans and Israelis.
—Proclaimed the United States would recognize the Golan Heights as a strategic, sovereign part of the state of Israel.
—Authorized the defunding of anti-Semitic terrorist enablers and closed the Palestinian office in Washington, D.C.
—Appointed the most pro-Israel U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in history in Nikki Haley, who still has a voice with the Trump administration and forcefully opposed multiple anti-Israel actions in the United Nations.
—Continuously calls to refuse to bow to members of Congress who support anti-Semitic agendas in the boycott, divest and sanctions movement.
—Signed the executive order that extended the Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act to protect Jewish students on college campuses from anti-Semitic attacks.
—Became the first world leader to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, now legal under international law.
—Unconditionally affirmed Israel’s absolute right to self-defense.
—Proclaimed May 2020 as a Jewish American Heritage month, calling upon Americans to celebrate and observe the heritage and the contribution of Jewish Americans.
Landry ended the podcast with these words: “In Yeshua’s name, we receive the Genesis 12:3 blessing that ‘I will bless those who bless you and all the families of earth shall be blessed.’ We receive as United States citizens the blessings of standing with God’s Word and the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Amen.”
