Christian Artist Nominations Announced for 2021 Grammys
The 2021 Grammy Award nominations are in and stand out Christian artists are in the running for prestigious recognition of the best of the music industry.
Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes and Elevation Worship were nominated for best contemporary Christian music performance/song with “The Blessing,” along with We The Kingdom’s “Holy Water.”
At the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards in October, We The Kingdom claimed new artist of the year, and Kari Jobe’s “The Blessing” took home worship song of the year.
This year, Hillsong Young & Free’s album All of My Best Friends was nominated for best contemporary Christian music album, as well as Jesus Is King by Kanye West and Citizen of Heaven by Tauren Wells.
Dolly Parton tweeted of her nomination for “There Was Jesus” for best contemporary Christian music performance/song:

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at 8 p.m. Eastern / 5 p.m. Pacific.
