Duggar Family Partners with Bible Translators

The Duggar family, featured on TLC’s hit reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting, has started a new partnership with the fastest-growing Bible translation organization in the world. The Seed Company, founded by Wycliffe Bible Translators, announced Wednesday the partnership with the family, in which they will work together to teach families and children the story of the Bible with the goal of spreading God’s word around the world.

“We feel extremely blessed to partner with the Duggar family in our shared mission of spreading God’s word,†says Roy Peterson, president and CEO of The Seed Company.

As part of the partnership, the Duggar family’s website includes a callout to The Seed Company’s KidsDiscover program.

FAIR Act Would Require Homosexuality Representation in Textbooks

Teacher and studentSenate Bill 48—the Fair, Accountable, Inclusive and Respectful Education Act (FAIR Act)—is making its way through legislation, and the Traditional Values Coalition is doing everything in its power to strike down the bill.

The FAIR Act, written by self-admitted homosexual state Sen. Mark Leno of San Francisco, will force all California schools to use textbooks and instructional materials that include homosexual, bisexual and transgender teachings. Despite its name, the Traditional Values Coalition says there is nothing fair, accountable, inclusive or respectful about it.

“The state of California is on the verge of financial collapse,” Benjamin Lopez, legislative advocate for Traditional Values Coalition, told Charisma News. “The last thing we need is to make an unnecessary expenditure to promote the gay lifestyle in California’s schools.”
