Christian TV Producer Giving Away Hard Cash Weekly
Looking to make a few quick bucks for doing something you probably already do anyway? Then check out Prayer Stop TV.
Prayer Stop TV is giving away money to its viewers. That’s right, cold hard cash. Much like some radio stations hand out cash prizes to listeners every hour, the producers of Prayer Stop TV, which airs on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. on The NRB Network, is offering viewers a chance to win $300 every week.
Darrel Rundus, who is known for giving away money, is the mastermind of the show. In 2009, Rundus gave away $20,000 to the first person he called who could list all Ten Commandments in order in 20 seconds or less.
“God loves a cheerful giver and it’s better to give than to receive,” Rundus said in a recent TV interview. “So we thought instead of asking others for money we should use this show as a way to be a blessing to others both financially and spiritually.”
Here’s how it works: Every Friday morning, Prayer Stop posts five simple questions about the previous night’s episode on its Facebook page. The first person to email the show at [email protected] with correct answers to all five questions wins the $300 award.
What is the show actually about? Through the “The Journey of Joe,” viewers will vicariously experience Joe’s pain, shame, fear, training and triumph. Each week, the producers will walk down the road Joe’s traveling to help Christians to learn how to face their fears and effectively share their faith with friends, family members, co-workers and even strangers.
