Franklin Graham Is Standing Against This Prayer Room Movement
A new prayer room is soon opening at the Orlando International Airport. If you’re thinking Mike Bickle, Misty Edwards and IHOP, think again.
It’s a Muslim prayer room—and the airport is investing $350,000 to build it, according to a report in WKMG. The room is set to open on Sept. 1.
“Let’s call this what it is—a mosque. The airport already had an interfaith prayer room since 1983 (with prayer rugs available in it)—but that wasn’t enough,” Graham says.
“How loud do you think the objections would be today if they spent $250,000 in taxpayer money to build a new prayer room exclusively for evangelical Christians? Or for Jews or Mormons or any other group? Why do Muslims get preference?”
That’s a good question. What say you?
