Frightening Prophetic Dream: ‘Son, I’m Not Coming Back Yet’
Two years ago, Dennis Funderburg had a dream that left him too scared to tell anyone about it for a year. He didn’t even tell his wife.
But now, he knows it’s time to share it with God’s people.
In his podcast, Jesus Is Still Jesus, Funderburg shares the dream that left him so shaken.
“Two years ago, I had a dream one night. I was standing in a house … in the room, it was just me and two other individuals. In the dream, I knew that these two guys were angels. At that time, I was having angelic encounters in my household with two angels.”
Funderburg says at that point in the dream, he had an overwhelming urge to cry out to Jesus. He started weeping and screaming at the top of his lungs, “Jesus, come back! Jesus, we need You!”
Suddenly, a man walked into the room, at which point the two angels immediately began beaming. Funderburg says he immediately knew the man was supposed to be Melchizedek.
Melchizedek stood in front of Funderburg, who was shaking at this point, and said, “Son, I’m not coming back yet.”
“Now, that might throw some people off,” Funderburg says. “Melchizedek, you read about him in Genesis, and you also read about him in Hebrews. He is a priest without lineage, without beginning or end. He is the prince of Salem, the prince of righteousness. It would correlate with what some theologians would say is the preincarnate Jesus.”
