“These signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover,” (Mark 16:17-18).

In a recent podcast with Joseph Z, Isaiah Saldivar shared his remarkable testimony of how God radically transformed his life, and has set him on the path to cast out demons, heal the sick and see people empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah Saldivar’s journey into deliverance ministry began unexpectedly, emerging from his former life as an atheist with no intention of ministry. In 2011, Isaiah, who had been living a life of partying and sin, was invited to attend a church service. During this service, he had a profound encounter with God. This encounter changed his life forever, leading him to pursue a calling in ministry rather than his initial plan of becoming a police officer.

Initially, Saldivar knew little about deliverance or ministry in general, but soon after this encounter, God began to use him mightily. He started praying for people in his home, and soon demons began to manifest. As his ministry grew, so did the power of the Holy Spirit over his life. He began seeing people healed and set free in miraculous ways, with people coming to him from all over for healing and deliverance.

As his ministry expanded, Saldivar’s experiences of demonic manifestations extended beyond his home. He recalls being in public places, including the gym where a man started growling at him. These experiences reaffirmed that God had called him into deliverance ministry.

“I realized when you get in the presence of God…demons will manifest, and when they do, we’ve got to know how to deal with them,” Saldivar says.

Saldivar points out that deliverance is not about rituals the way the Catholic church has always embraced it, but rather, it’s about binding and casting out according to biblical principles. On the flip side, many believers are unaware of the demonic influences that can affect their lives, even after they’ve been saved. He encourages the church to recognize that spiritual warfare is real, and deliverance is a vital part of the Christian journey.

Saldivar’s powerful testimony serves as a call to action, urging Christians not only to seek freedom for themselves but to actively engage in spiritual battles, standing firm in faith and truth.
