Released May 21, Worship In the Now: Live, which features Damita, Marvin Winans Jr., Jonathan Nelson and LaRue Howard, encourages Christians to “seek God and stand in awe of who He is and all that He has promised,” Javen says.

Produced by Stellar Award winner Jonathan Nelson, the album, which features the hit single “Worshiper in Me,” is carried by Family Christian Stores, Mardel Christian & Education and Christianbook.com.

“The Billboard debut serves as a great beginning for the project and his career,” a Tyscot Records officials says. “Javen’s Billboard debut is a momentous step towards his campaign to ‘Get America Worshipping.’ “

Javen has juggled music and film careers. He has appeared in several movies, including The Sixth, One Night With the King, Preacher’s Kid and Abandoned. As a songwriter, Javen wrote and recorded the single “One Step,” which was featured in the 2010 film The Cross.
