Jonathan Cahn’s ‘Miraculous’ Life on Display in ‘The Harbinger Man’
New York Times’ best-selling author Jonathan Cahn’s life story will be on display in The Harbinger Man, a new film to be released later this fall.
Produced by WND Films, The Harbinger Man will tell the life story of the messianic rabbi, who is known for his books The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah.
The film will tell the story of “how God has had His hand on Cahn’s life from the earliest years. His life has been miraculously touched by God, guided by God and blessed by God—and you’ll get to see that story for the first time in The Harbinger Man,” producer Joseph Farah says.
The name of the film is based off the title of Cahn’s first best-selling novel.
In The Harbinger, Cahn traced a series of parallels between what has happened in the United States since the 2001 terrorist attacks—including the economic collapse—and Israel’s history after it turned away from God, Charisma News previously reported. Told as a fictional narrative, the book unfolds how nine signs concealed in recent events reveal God’s progressive judgment on America.
After The Harbinger, Cahn penned The Mystery of the Shemitah, which examines the seven-year biblical cycle and the “great shaking” America could experience if it doesn’t repent.
“I take no joy in being the bearer of bad news,” Cahn says of warning America through his writings. “That might sound strange coming from the author of The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah. But that’s the point. If I must be that bearer, then there has to be a very strong reason behind it. And so when I’m asked to write how America can avoid judgment or calamity, I find myself in a predicament. The reason is this: I don’t believe it will be avoided. And if we don’t look at the magnitude of the situation, we’ll be of no effect, impact or good in the matter.”
But what were the results of his warnings? How did he get there? These are questions The Harbinger Man aims to answer.
The film will reportedly feature “Rare footage and photos (that) reveal an ordinary man seeking his calling, and stepping out boldly to fulfill God’s great commission.”
