Maren Morris’ Fall From ‘My Church’ to the Alphabet Community
Maren Morris became a hit with country music fans back in 2016 with her song, “My Church.” Now, she is declaring herself a member of the LGBTQ community. “Happy to be ‘B’ in LGBTQ+” Morris wrote on Instagram as she held a pride flag in the photo. While Morris has not spoken out regularly about her religious views, her songs have had themes playing off of biblical principles. “My Church” uses the imagery of the power of the Holy Spirit relating back to how she feels about listening to music on the open road. Her song, “Dear Hate,” also uses imagery about the Garden of Eden to explain how love conquers over evil.

As SBC, Others Consider Female Pastors, Let’s Consider This
From the Southern Baptists to other mainline denominations and many churches in between, the topic of female pastors is prevalent, so I’m re-releasing my position.
Let me begin by saying that I know and appreciate many women who have been recognized as pastors. They are diligent, steadfast and hard-working. Our country has done a great disservice to women over the years by not elevating and supporting women in roles of leadership. Alexander Strauch echoes this same concern:
In the minds of contemporary people, excluding women from church eldership is sexist, discriminatory, and one more example of male dominance. But this need not be the case. No one who truly loves people, who is sensitive to God’s Word, and who is aware of the painful dehumanization that women have suffered (and still suffer) worldwide would want to discriminate against women.
The Hunter Becomes the Hunted: A Prophetic Fulfillment
In a recent interview with Charisma Media, President and co-Founder of Destiny Encounters International Charlie Shamp revisited a prophetic word he received in August 2022, stating that “the hunter will become the hunted.” This prophecy appears to be unfolding with the recent conviction of Hunter Biden on felony charges, including weapons possession. Shamp stated, “When the word of the Lord comes, it will always come to pass. We are really seeing some uncovering of things that have been hidden and they’re now coming to light.” He believes this event signifies a move of God in America, emphasizing divine justice and a spiritual awakening beginning to take place.
