Shawn Bolz Releases Encouraging Prophetic Word for Will Smith
Read Time: 1 minute and 46 seconds
Living under the spotlight doesn’t leave you a lot of room to make mistakes and learn and grow from them without a barrage of comments from spectators around the world. For actor Will Smith, media coverage of the 2022 Oscars slap hasn’t died down.
One Evangelical prophetic voice has posted to Facebook with a prophetic word for the actor to encourage him amid all of the hateful comments. Shawn Bolz posted on his Facebook that he “heard from God while praying for Will Smith and felt since what happened in his life was so public,” he would release the word on social media.
During the 2022 Oscars, Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock for a joke he made about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. Smith has apologized to the comedian multiple times since the incident, and has expressed that violence is never the answer.
Smith was banned by the Academy for the next 10 years. Earlier this year the actor said, “Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke at Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”
Now Bolz is looking to encourage the actor and is praying he receives a deeper revelation of God’s love, his value and notes that God is “the King of comebacks.” Bolz prophecy says, “God wants to give Will Smith an unshakable identity which will create a comeback not just as an actor but as a film maker who wins awards through the very academy he resigned (and is now banned from attending) that tell some of the most honest stories that awaken empathy and compassion in a generation.”
The word continues, “The very thing that people are not showing Him, God will show him and he will change. Pray for the God of all angel armies to take out the assignment of the devil who wants to destroy Will before it happens.” Bolz says, “Sometimes we don’t like people’s weaknesses so much that we don’t ever believe they can change.”
Comparing Smith to biblical figures, Bolzs says, “King David did worse but God still used him and changed his nature. Pray for Will for that change to come. He is chosen by God for some greater works.”
The post has garnered almost 5,000 likes and about 500 comments and 200 shares. It’s unclear whether the actor has responded to the Facebook post. {eoa}
