Fly Like an Eagle
I love to watch eagles work.
The majestic raptor knows if he doesn’t kill, he doesn’t eat. Eagles make no claims of entitlement. They don’t hang out together on the ground eating sympathy snacks hurled at them by the wingless.
They hunt while they soar.
Eagles are the only birds of prey who don’t look back over their shoulders before striking their food. Other birds know that they too can make a nice meal and have a habit of looking back.
Not the eagle.
Leaders don’t have time to look back. Rear view vision is for the birds.
Eagles work.
“Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint” (Is. 40:31-31).
Platform Tip No. 131
Your audience has many choices, even though they may feel boxed in.
Our message must first give hope.
“Choose this way, not that way.”
An audience can also choose your message over another similar message.
Your platform will be chosen and remain chosen if you show up every day and provide solutions to felt needs.
