8-Year-Old With Rare Condition Praying to Attend, Offer Prophetic Prayer at Trump Inauguration
A boy born with a rare medical condition loves Jesus, his family, ice hockey and, unashamedly, Donald Trump—and his biggest prayer since the presidential election has been to attend the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C.
Liam Licastro is an 8-year-old New York resident who has already experienced President Trump’s generosity personally when Trump hand-delivered a birthday gift backstage at a Make America Great Again rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York, in September 2024. Now, Licastro is praying for the opportunity to be the first person of his generation—Generation Alpha (born after 2010)—to pray and prophesy over President Trump in person at the beginning of his second term in office.
As an outspoken believer in Christ, the young boy, whose viral videos have been seen by millions of people, has been praying for a chance to deliver a courageous message that sounds downright prophetic: God will use Trump to make America safe again, caring again and inspiring again for people with serious medical conditions and disabilities.
“President Trump is a strong leader,” Licastro says without hesitation. “What he has taught us is to ‘never give up.’ We should also be more like Jesus.”
‘My Little Miracle’
His mother, Siobhan Licastro, says, “Liam was born a little jittery. His blood sugar was borderline hypoglycemic. Within 24 hours of him being born, he was rushed to the NICU because his sugar had dropped. And it’s where they noticed he had a feeding disorder and two holes in his heart. Thankfully, they since closed by the time he was six weeks old. But the feeding disorder stayed with us. Liam still has health issues.”
She thought her son had a seizure at 14 months old. “It turned out they did all this testing and that’s how they found that he was missing the part of the brain, the corpus callosum, which is his diagnosis, a genesis of the corpus callosum,” she says. So, he was a late walker, late talker. He was hypertonic, which means weak muscle core.”

Licastro’s mother says faith in Christ has been central to dealing with his health journey. “Being that we were told he may never walk, he may never talk and doing our own research and support groups, I feel that Jesus is on our side because he is a miracle,” she explains. “A lot of children with his disorder can live in a vegetative state, but Liam does not. I do feel that God has provided my little miracle here and is helping guide him along the way.”
The boy is using his hard-fought-for voice to make a difference. His family has started a GoFundMe to raise money for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum to help with research, St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital Intense Feeding Therapy and Liam’s future therapy, which will not be covered by insurance.
Prayer From the Heart
Licastro is looking to Jesus. His identity is in Christ, not in any inborn disability. With a fervor that reflects divine inspiration, he says he plans to attend the inauguration to invite President Trump to come in agreement with his daily prayer, “Dear Jesus, please make me better.”
The prayer extends to a national prayer that this tender-hearted boy inspires: “Dear Jesus, please make America better”—all because a young boy with faith in Jesus for healing has the courage to take a message to the 47th president of the United States to open the door to make America believe in miracles again.
Licastro’s prophetically infused message to America: “Miracles will happen with Trump back in the White House.” Then, fueled by great faith in the Lord, he lets out a big smile.
This is reminiscent of the prophet Kim Clement’s prophecy over a decade ago that Trump would go into the White House whispering God’s name, serve two terms and then come out shouting His name. As a miracle boy who keeps fighting his way through life by faith, this child is one more reason for Trump to do so.
Just as Trump inspired Licastro to “Fight! Fight! Fight,” Liam the lion-hearted boy may be the one God uses to inspire Trump to truly “Believe! Believe! Believe!”
Taking Care of the Little Children
One of the areas for which Licastro and his family plan to ask for President Trump’s help—and never stop trying to fix—is health care. Insurance coverage needs to improve for people with disabilities until the Lord Jesus heals them completely—and the boy still has faith for a miracle.
In the meantime, he needs to be delivered from the trappings of legacy Obamacare, officially known as the Affordable Care Act, just as a growing number of chronically sick, forgotten children do too. The key issue is that the threat of losing access to therapies is continually looming.
Liam’s mother explains that Obamacare has stripped her son and children like him of much-needed therapies at various times, leaving them unprotected, uncared for and discouraged.
However, love for families with children with serious medical illnesses motivates a call for President Trump to make access to therapies whole again. Therapies that children like Licastro need tend to be taken away too soon by bureaucrats who do not have the heart of Jesus.
This boy with a profound love of the Lord Jesus carries a prophetic message that God has placed President Trump back in the White House to not forget the little children who are sick and need ongoing care.
By attending Trump’s inauguration, Licastro would give hope to people with disabilities that they matter to the most powerful person in the free world.
