Faith-Fueled Leadership: Why Bold Believers Change the Game

In a time of governmental reform, the biblical principle from Proverbs 23:7—”As he thinks in his heart, so is he”—reminds us that what we believe shapes our actions. As the Department of Government Efficiency uncovers wasteful spending and seeks to overhaul federal operations, taking back the authority that we previously lost, believers are called to walk in authority, trusting in the power of Christ to bring true freedom.

Apostle Kathryn Krick recently preached about the importance of having this confidence in Christ, declaring that believers must reject the lies of the enemy and step fully into their divine calling.

” If you believe the lies of the devil,” she says, “You’re not going to be able to do what God is calling you to do.”

Just as the government is uncovering inefficiencies that have long been ignored, many Christians must also recognize the spiritual strongholds that have kept them from stepping into their full identity in Christ. Krick warns that what the enemy sows is to distract believers from their purpose. She teaches that confidence in Christ is key to fulfilling God’s calling. In the same way, the government must be confident in its mission to reform inefficiencies despite opposition.

Believers must remember that our ultimate freedom comes not from policies nor financial reforms but from the truth of Christ. It is by taking up this authority, wisdom and power that are found in Jesus Christ that allows us to block lies of the enemy. So too, we need to pray for our elected leaders this side of heaven, to seek this kind of wisdom and strength that can only be found in the Savior of the world.

Just as we are stepping into a new season as nation, which will require leadership to keep their hearts soft to the Lord and guarded from the enemy, we as believers must walk in the confidence of the anointing and power that God has for us.
