Nonbinary Pastor Brags on Church’s ‘All-Gender’ Bathrooms

The world just keeps getting weirder.

As the mixing between the world and the church continues to grow, one of the ways that things are continually getting stranger is the church’s stance on affirming gender identity struggles. In Canada, a nonbinary ‘pastor,’ Deana Dudley, decided to make a video showcasing her church’s ‘all gender’ bathrooms.

“Here at the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto, we have ‘all-gender washrooms,’” Dudley says in a video shared by Protestia on X.

Dudley goes on to address what she considers to be “horrible statements” by those who disagree with having transgender men in women’s restrooms.

“Here, there is no room for discrimination and hate in sport, in change rooms [and] in washrooms,” Dudley says. “What you said is nothing more than political bullying.”

She states how she believes that trans youth are at risk for death because of this “conservative bullying” of having to go to the bathroom based off of the sex they were born as.

The video gets even odder as someone flushes a toilet and suddenly a slew of transgender teenagers emerge from the stalls. Dudley continues reading her script, trying to make her point that ‘all-gender’ bathrooms are what’s best for all.

“Here I am, a biological female, with a bunch of trans, nonbinary and queer youth,” Dudley says. “And I know I am perfectly safe.”

It’s actions like these that are a reminder that the church is called to be the light of the world, not part of the manipulation of it. Instead of providing true hope through Christ, churches like this one are providing a false sense of security in idolizing gender. However, it is when we come in all of our mess directly to Jesus and allow Him to transform our lives that we finally find it.

This is a reminder of Matthew 10:39 which says, “He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” It’s not until we surrender our lives to Christ that we truly find immense freedom and joy.
