Police responded to a “pretty bloody” scene Sunday at a Maryland church, where a man was stabbed to death and his wife was injured.
The incident occurred at the Anna Prayer Mountain Church in Frederick County, Maryland.
When police arrived, they found “a pretty gruesome scene, pretty bloody,” Sheriff Chuck Jenkins said. “The stab and slashing injuries were pretty severe.”
The suspect, Song Su Kim, was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree murder. Some reports say he had been living at the church, which also functions as a counseling center, for about a week.
The victims, a man and his wife, were Korean, and their names have not been released yet.
