Pastor Ordained by Apostle John Eckhardt Shot to Death
Pastor Simeon James Frazier Sr. was found shot to death in his home yesterday. He was 59.
Police suspect his stepson Andrico Rashad Stewart of the murder. Stewart is armed and dangerous and still on the run, police says.
“[Frazier] was ordained in the apostolic by John Eckhardt,” his daughter-in-law, Brittany Frazier, said. “He was a traveling pastor. He saved a lot of souls, brought a lot of people to Christ.”
Frazier ran the Apostolic and Prophetic Training Bible Institute.
According to police, Frazier, who was shot multiple times inside the home and taken to Spartanburg Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on June 6. Police say Stewart and Frazier lived with two other people at the South Carolina home.
“He has a lot of family and friends, very influential in the community, especially when it comes to basketball,” Brittany said. “He didn’t deserve to die like this. The type of person he was—he deserved to die peacefully in his sleep.”
