Zuckerberg Admits FBI, Facebook Interference in 2020 Election
Living in America in 2022 is like being in an episode of “The Twilight Zone” or living in “The Matrix.”
What if I told you that a federal agency, actively worked to suppress information that could hurt a presidential candidate before the elections?
What if I told you that the largest purveyor of communication suppressed a story that directly impacted an election?
You are not about to enter the Twilight Zone, because these occurrences are happening in real-life America.
On Thursday, Aug. 25, Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of Facebook, admitted on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that his company purged any mentions of the Hunter Biden laptop story released by “The New York Post” for an entire week at the urging of the FBI.
This coincides with Twitter removing “The New York Post” from its platform when the story first dropped. The legacy media of course went to bat for Twitter, trying to run interference and protecting it from scrutiny.
Then the bomb dropped in 2022 when the Hunter Biden laptop controversy was proven to be true and not some drummed-up conspiracy.
For Americans of all faiths, races, ethnicities and political parties, this suppression of speech and evidence should be sickening. These are the tactics of a Mao-appointed “Ministry of News” that run completely counter to the beliefs in freedom of speech and press. It is a clear-cut case of election tampering by a government agency! A person’s like or dislike of Donald Trump is totally irrelevant in this case. This was an unethical and immoral tactic used to keep him from being re-elected.
Christians in America must stand up to this sort of tyrannical and dishonest suppression, regardless of whether or not they think Trump is a menace to society or God’s answer to the radical leftism that is embroiling American culture.
How can any election going forward be viewed as impartial? If Republicans take back control of the government, will their victory then be viewed as legitimate? Or if Democrats repel the “red wave” that is predicted this November, will that be accepted as another election that was interfered with?
This slope is not just slippery, it is dangerous. Election integrity is vital to the survival of the American republic. Without it, freedom will wane and oppression will take its place. The worship of God will be replaced with the worship of government.
The Bible absolutely instructs Christians to obey the government, (Rom. 13:1-14; Heb. 13:17; 1 Pet. 2:13-17), but what is a Christian supposed to do when that government becomes corrupt and opposes God?
The book of Acts covers this example perfectly for Christians. In chapter 5, Peter and the disciples are being instructed not to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their response of, “We must obey God rather than human beings,” says that God’s laws are above man’s laws.
Christians must maintain control of what is in their hearts during trying times such as these. By maintaining the fruit of the Spirit when engaging those who seek to remove their freedoms, they open the door for the Lord to move and work His wonders. By attacking the institutions with anger, hatred and offense in their hearts, they simply enable havoc and division across the land they aim to save.
Thankfully, Christians can protest legally and peacefully in the United States. Martin Luther King Jr. perfected this non-violent tactic and look at how the Lord used him! Praying, fasting and voting according to what the Word of God says are all ways for a Christian to stand up to tyranny and display the love, power and greatness of God. {eoa}
