More than 100,000 U.S. soldiers are “armed and dangerous” with a secret weapon that fits into a uniform pocket. Thanks to audio Bible ministry Faith Comes By Hearing, service personnel are toting Military BibleSticks—portable digital audio players loaded with a dramatized version of the entire New Testament. Chaplains hand out the products to troops during predeployment briefings, counseling sessions, Bible studies and when servicemen request them. Marine veteran Jon Wilke, spokesman for the project, says the “demand has been overwhelming.”
