‘Canada Has Fallen’: Pastor’s Son Pleads for His Country, Dad’s Freedom

Nathaniel PawlowskiThe son of troubled Canadian Pastor Artur Pawlowski drew a raucous round of applause earlier this month from the European Parliament as he boldly pleaded not only for his father’s exoneration but also for the future fate of his country.

On July 4, 23-year-old Nathaniel Pawlowski came before the EU Parliament in “desperation” for his father, who faces 10 years in prison for a sermon to truckers blocking the U.S.-Canada border last year, Fox News Digital reported.

Nathaniel Pawlowski says the Canadian government has become a dictatorship under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and that the future for Canada looks bleak under his regime.

“I would like to stand here and tell you all the things about freedom and democracy that I like, but I no longer know those things,” the younger Pawlowski told the EU Parliament. “They have been taken away from us. Canada has fallen.”

Artur Pawlowski has continuously been entangled with the Canadian government and the authorities in Calgary, Alberta, since he expelled police and public health officials from his Cave of Adullam church as they attempted to inspect it for COVID compliance during an Resurrection Sunday Service in 2021.

The elder Palowski has been arrested five times after he continued to defy a court order by conducting services. One of his arrests came in the middle of a busy highway while he was on his way home from church. He was also arrested on the tarmac of Calgary International Airport after returning home from a speaking tour in the U.S.

Pastor Pawlowski remains under house arrest and awaits another court date on Aug. 9, when he also faces a charge for participating in blocking the border crossing, a charge that could land him in prison for 10 years.

Nathaniel Pawlowski told the EU Parliament that freedom of religion, freedom of speech or the right to protest or assemble and express themselves and have free media that disagree with the Canadian government is a thing of the past in Canada.

“Anyone who does so is arrested, charged and jailed as political dissidents,” Nathaniel said.

Antichrist BiltzNathaniel also showed a video recorded by his father where he likened his situation in Canada to growing up behind the Iron Curtain in communist Poland.

Nathaniel hasn’t been able to stay out of trouble in Canada, either. He was charged with delivering a sermon in April outside a drag queen story hour with children at the Calgary Public Library. He allegedly violated a municipal bylaw passed in March that prohibits protests within 100 meters of a recreation facility or library entrance.

“I myself have been charged for preaching and reading the Bible publicly because the government claims the Bible isn’t inclusive and is hateful,” Nathaniel said.

Nathaniel told Fox News Digital that when he returned to Canada earlier this month that customs officials in Montreal told him that there was a warrant out for his arrest. He was briefly detained at the airport in Montreal and was later released and told his charges were related to an alleged municipal violation.” {eoa}
