Jewish People Around the World Mourn Loss of Myles Munroe
Jews in Israel and beyond are mourning the sudden death of Myles Munroe and his wife, Ruth. The internationally known author, Bible teacher, governmental consultant and leadership mentor, was one of nine passengers on a plane that crashed in Grand Bahama on Sunday afternoon.
“His faith and love of Israel was an inspiration to us all,” says Knesset Christian Allies Caucus director Josh Reinstein. “Israel had no better friend and the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus was honored to work with him.”
The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) called Munroe a wonderful gift of God in our time, giving leadership to countless believers around the world.
“Myles Munroe was a key leader of the global evangelical movement with a big heart for Israel … his tragic passing is a loss for Christians and for the Jewish people he loved,” said the ICEJ in a statement. “His clear stand for God’s purposes with Israel and the Jewish people was an inspiration to many of us. He will be greatly missed.
Our prayers go out to his surviving family, as well as to the staff and leadership of Bahamas Faith Mission International.”
