Let’s count down the top three stories of 2020 based on your readership. We’ve provided brief summaries for each.

3. Chuck Pierce Prophesied ‘Massive Plague-Like Invasion’ in September

This story was published on March 16 and covers a prophecy given in September of 2019.

The media is full of reports about the coronavirus. But they’re often from a political or scientific point of view. Few are choosing to view this pandemic from a prophetic perspective.

Thankfully, though, some are. I recently interviewed Shawn Bolz, who shared with me why he felt the Lord told him the end of the coronavirus is near. Prophet Chuck Pierce says God told him something similar. Back in September of 2019, he prophesied that the “nations would come into turmoil until Passover” (April 8-16).

Then, on Jan. 26, 2020, he gave a prophetic word that a “massive plague-like invasion would test us through Passover.” Cindy Jacobs gave a similar prophecy to Chuck on Jan. 3 regarding the first three months of this year. She told Chuck that he should be cautious about how much he travels.

“I had gone 570,000 miles last year and was weary from all the travel and warfare,” Chuck says. “She actually shared that the Lord was saying that I needed rest, but I recognized the admonition to be a caution on my travel for the first three months of 2020. Therefore, I have watched the Lord make sure I’ve had more time to rest and write, and I’ve actually stopped most international travel during these three months.”

It’s important we listen to what the prophets are saying about this matter. Even though the media gives us facts, those who listen carefully to God’s heart can give us spiritual insight.

2. Up to 30 COGIC Bishops, Leaders Die From COVID-19

This story was published on April 20, early in the pandemic. The sad loss of these men of God sent shockwaves through the charismatic Christian community.

The Church of God in Christ (COGIC) has suffered heavy losses as at least 12, and up to 30, of the Pentecostal denomination’s bishops and leaders have died from COVID-19.

The Washington Post reports that bishops who have allegedly died of the coronavirus include First Assistant Presiding Bishop Phillip A. Brooks, senior pastor of New St. Paul Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Detroit and Bishop Timothy Scott, who served the denomination in Mississippi for 50 years and was leader of the Northern Mississippi Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.

Also among those who died are Bishop Robert E. Smith Sr., Bishop Robert L. Harris, Bishop Timothy T. Scott and Bishop Phillip A. Brook as well as Superintendents John D. Beverly, Paul E. Hester Sr., Kevelin B. Jones, Myron E. Lett and Leon R. McPherson Sr., reports the Los Angeles Sentinel.

On March 26, WREG reported that Bishop Scott may have unwittingly exposed 300 people to the coronavirus by attending a funeral. A week after the March 14 funeral, Scott and his wife both tested positive for COVID-19.

The Church of God in Christ, headquartered in Mason Temple in Memphis, is considered the largest Black Christian denomination in the United States, with members amounting to an estimated 6.5 million.

1. Prominent Lawyer Fights Election Fraud With Supernatural Discernment

This story ran as a two-part series on Nov. 24 and 25. The first segment alone set record views on cn.mycharisma.com.

Lin Wood, one of the most prominent and patriotic attorneys in America, joined the legal fight alongside President Trump’s legal team to save election integrity from fraud and political treachery, thereby, preserving the U.S. Constitution. However, according to his tweets, Wood, a man of deep faith and intimacy with the Holy Spirit, quickly discerned the spiritual battle of biblical proportions between God’s revelations and satanic influences fighting for control of the soul and future of America.

“Every lie will be revealed,” said Wood in a prophetic pronouncement. He is challenging the veracity of the 2020 presidential election and claiming there is ample evidence of election fraud to benefit Democrat party candidate Joe Biden, especially in Wood’s home state of Georgia where alleged corruption charges have tinged both Democrats and anti-Trump, establishment Republicans.

Wood is wisely using facts—and the truth of the Word of God—to confront deception, blatant lies, power grabs, intimidation, authoritarian acts and shameless hypocrisy against the backdrop of established law.

The Christian worldview and personal faith of Lin Wood are on full display in this #FightBack lawyer’s tweets on Twitter, as he urges people to “Trust the Lord,” “Have faith in God” and “Be strong in your faith.” Although it may seem unusual for a top lawyer with a strong backbone for legal fights to speak openly about his faith in Christ, He often tweets Bible verses, including recent posts of Joshua 1:9, Jeremiah 33:3,15 and Isaiah 41:10.

Wood said, “I think there are a lot of things going on right now that people won’t recognize without discernment, so they understand more than just what they see at first glance.” {eoa}

We appreciate your partnership and look forward to 2021, when we will again provide breaking news with a Christian perspective. May your relationship with God deepen through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in 2021.
