Christian media have an obligation to report what’s going on in the world from a biblical worldview, but current events are far from cut and dry, says Charisma Media Founder and CEO Steve Strang.
“We really don’t understand,” Strang says. “We’ve got to be like the sons of Issachar, and look at what’s going on and try to understand and ask the Holy Spirit to help us.”
But it’s hard to deny what is going on around us, from natural disasters to Russian airstrikes to a potential World War III.
“A lot of times, we want things to happen because it backs up what we say,” Strang says. “I think God’s plans and purposes are bigger than anything we can understand.”
