1 Million People Seeking Heaven to Reset This Generation
Our dream is to see 1 million people uniting around Jesus on the National Mall. There are moments that define each generation. We believe Together 2016 is the time to define ours.
On July 16, 2016, we’re going to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and asking Jesus to reset this generation. We’re building toward something unprecedented. Imagine 1 million people from every background and ethnicity, standing and coming together to lay down what divides us and lifting up Jesus, who unites us. It would be a taste of heaven. It could define a generation.
Speakers Francis Chan, Ravi Zacharias, Luis Palau, Josh McDowell, Christine Caine, Sammy Rodriguez, Rev. John Jenkins Sr., Jo Saxton and Nick Hall along with artists Hillsong UNITED, Kari Jobe, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Lauren Daigle, Kirk Franklin, Lecrae and Tasha Cobbs will be helping to lead the free, all-day event.
Jesus told us what could happen if we came together. He prayed “that they may be perfect in unity, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me” (John 17:23). He called us a family; it’s time for a family gathering. Not just one church or denomination, but all of us.
So make your plans. Invite your family and friends. Make it your goal to be there next summer when we stand, linking arms, lifting up the name of Jesus.
The world will be different because this generation came together.
