Evangelist Steve Hill Calls Christians to Rise Up and Fight

We are living in perilous times—and I’m dedicated to exposing the schemes of Satan and then educating Christians on what to do about it.

We are finding that many churches have become Satan’s sanctuary. Satan can sit down and savor a soft sermon. The pillow prophets behind the sacred pulpit won’t dare preach against him. Rather, they offer us savory snacks that produce anemic malnourished Christians whose lives are void of Holy Ghost strength.

I fear we are raising up a generation of weak, cowardly, young people. They don’t know how to cast out devils. Many have never been filled with His Spirit and haven’t experienced the glorious manifestation of tongues. They don’t know how to pray. They don’t know how to go after God. They want to sit under some teacher that’s going to tickle their ears and make them happy.

Recently, someone asked me if I wanted to be a life coach in a big church. That’s a big thing nowadays, the life coach. This was a huge church. I said to them “I’m sorry.” I wouldn’t do it because I would shoot too straight for them. I would ask them, “Are you a drinker? Do you go to parties? When you travel, do you jump in the sack with prostitutes?” I wouldn’t say, “God loves you and you’re wonderful and everything is nice and dandy.” No! It doesn’t matter if they are millionaires.

I’ll preach to people that are worth billions of dollars the same message that I would preach to somebody off the street. I love everybody. But I want to tell you it’s time to rise up and speak the truth. Many who call themselves pastors are guilty of dumbing down the gospel. As a result believers lack in the simple truth of spiritual warfare. Why do they come to me to cast out devils? Why can’t they cast out devils? Why do they come to me ask me to lay hands on a person? All Christians are supposed to lay hands on the sick. All Christians are supposed to be able to deal with a demonic attack. But when they are spiritually attacked, many of these weak Christians lift up rusty swords and swing them in the hope of some type of victory.

It’s time to get up, get out, and get going. It’s time for Christians to leave the barracks and enter the battle. The only answer to our present political dilemma is spiritual strength. The only answer to our present political dilemma is for Christians to rise up and use their use their right of free speech to lift up their voice as a trumpet. Show your valor by entering this war not hoping for victory but expecting total victory. Some enter the battle hoping to win. I enter the battle knowing I’m going to win.

As a Christian don’t be labeled as a coward but rather a crusader of righteousness. As a Christian, do’t run away from tough situations, run towards them. I look at present-day politicians who will stand up and they’ll scream their beliefs over the airwaves, and I’m saying, “Where are the believers that will scream what they believe over the airwaves, the Internet or their local town council meeting?” This is what we endeavor to do. This is what every believer has freedom to do.
