How to Help J. Lee Grady Raise Money for a Girls Home
If you have appreciated J. Lee Grady’s contribution to Charisma in the past, please consider helping him as he works to confront gender-based violence all over the globe. Charisma Cares, the nonprofit partner ministry of Charisma, has set a goal to raise $100,000 of the $250,000 he needs to purchase a new building for the Mordecai’s House girls’ home in Tanuku, India.
“Our current facility is very small,” says Lee. “Our dream is to not only purchase a larger building but to establish a school for our 33 girls—and to make room for more. In India, many families do not believe girls are worth educating. We want our girls to demonstrate how vital it is for girls to excel in school and go to college—and eventually get good jobs. Educating girls is the secret to ending systemic poverty in the developing world!”
For 18 years Lee served as an editor at Charisma, and he continues to write his popular “Fire in My Bones” column for the magazine every month. If his work has blessed you over the years, please consider investing in his ministry. Says Lee: “During my years at Charisma I wrote hundreds of articles about the movement of the Holy Spirit around the world. Now, I am not just writing about it, I am going to the nations and seeing the transforming power of the Spirit. It is so special to have my Charisma family participating with me in this project!”
