Intercession That Will Change The World
This issue will also divide us. You must think very seriously with whom you will take your stand, because every evil force will be loosed to keep us separate and apart from our calling and the final conclusion of the prophecies of God’s word to restore Israel spiritually (Ezekiel 37:9-11). Just look at how the homosexual issue is dividing us presently.
Do you honestly think that the devil is going to be cast down from the heavens without a major fight or that we we as Christ’s body are separated from this? Or are we brought into the Father’s plan as a catalyst for end-time prayer, intercession and evangelism that will indeed play a major role in changing the world? Someone please say Amen! And so it is the same with Israel’s spiritual awakening—is the Father going to do this on His own, like all our books and DVDs seem to suggest? Or, will the mercy and breath of God be released through us in accordance with Romans 11:29-32? And if this is the case, shouldn’t we be giving it our full and utter attention, and shouldn’t it be taking pole position in all that we do in our supplication for Israel and the nations?
After all isn’t the gospel to the Jew first and then to the Gentile? Hello! Does someone else need to be awakened here, before Israel is able to see? We must begin to see Israel’s spiritual awakening as the golden key to the end-time power and glory of God, as well as our own intricate role (the Church), to take hold of that precious key to unlock its unquenchable power through effective and fervent prayer and intercession, that His end-time power would be loosed upon all.
Praying For The Peace Of Jerusalem
Therefore, in aligning ourselves with this type of intercession for the peace of Jerusalem, we must be willing to pray for all events to come into line with God’s end-time plan, in order that His will may come to pass. As a result, if the church is the catalyst that the Holy Spirit wants to move through, don’t we need to shift our focus first to pray for the church’s awakening here regarding its role toward awakening Israel? I humbly submit to you that before Israel can be restored to God, the sleeping giant (the church), must be awakened into its own salvific role to release the mercy of God back to Israel. I always say that if we truly knew the significance of this transaction in us, how we would run to it with all of our hearts and all of our strength. We would have the revelation and the understanding that as we move into the Father’s heart to reawaken His firstborn son and our first born brother, that their spiritual awakening is indeed the missing link and piece of the end-time puzzle for the final outpouring of God’s Spirit to come upon the earth. Church, can you hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying?
