Jim Bakker Comes Against ‘Happy Churches’

With the discussions of stock market crashes and Aug. 24 known as “Black Monday,” televangelist Jim Bakker says the church is not ready for the coming disasters.

“We go to church and ease our conscience and our pastor tells us, ‘Don’t prepare, don’t get ready,'” Bakker says. “A fool would take a life raft if the boat looked like it might sink.”
