Left’s Answer to Muslim Terror? Shut Up and Take Your Bullet
What’s most important is to be open-minded and tolerant as you’re being machine-gunned to death.
Just when you thought you had seen it all from the Left when it comes to terrorism, they do something even more outrageous to show how they place political correctness over the safety of Americans.
Last month our president assured us that Muslim immigrants are no more dangerous than “tourists.” Then, after Muslim terrorists (a.k.a., “immigrants/tourists”) gunned down 14 Americans, the Left spewed unprecedented hatred toward anyone offering prayers for the victims and their families.
The Left was crushed that the San Bernardino killers were not angry, white “radical Christian” males as many of them tweeted when news of the tragedy first broke.
Then, the Left-dominated government-media spin machine tried to turn another Islamic terror attack into workplace violence and a gun control issue.
(Note to America: France’s very strict gun control laws only made the terrorists’ job easier.)
Recently, the left-wing New York Daily News, trying to go one up on its infamous anti-prayer cover, insinuated that one of the victims had it coming. San Bernardino victim Nicholas Thalasinos was described as a “radical Born Again Christian/Messianic Jew” who was “a hate-filled bigot.”
But wait. There’s more. Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley late today called Donald Trump a “fascist demagogue” for saying that the U.S. needs to halt Muslim immigration until we can figure out how to stop Muslim terrorists from getting in.
In the Left’s bizarro re-do of reality, it’s still a bigger sin to be afraid of a violent, bigoted religion like Islam than to be a member of a violent, bigoted religion. And it’s a giant sin to want to keep that violent, bigoted religion outside of our borders.
The Left never wants Christianity or Christian civilization to appear to be superior to, or safer than, Islam. And no one should be allowed to act like it is.
The Left’s message to you? Shut up and take your bullet, and die like a tolerant, inclusive person. And keep yourself free of the sin of thinking Islam is a dangerous religion, or that Christianity is better.
Our president kept that faith in his address Monday night; saying the San Bernardino killers were not true Muslims but had embraced a “perverted interpretation of Islam.” Nevermind that Syed Farook’s own dad called his son a “devout” Muslim.
As our government continues its politically correct approach to defending America from Islamic terror, here’s a sad and easy prediction: More innocent Americans are going to be killed by devout Muslims.
But the Left hopes they’ll be free of the sin of Islamophobia.
