Prophetic Dream Reveals Spiritual Warfare Strategy to Defeat Demonic Spirit of Coronavirus

On Saturday, April 4, at 4 a.m., I was abruptly awoken by God after an encounter with a strong demonic force that came into my bedroom and tried to put a sickness upon me on my chest. I cried out in my sleep three times as I rebuked this demon. I knew it had something to do with the coronavirus. The strange thing was that I went to bed with a communion cracker in my hand, which I never do, and I had been up praying for about three hours before I fell asleep and had this demonic encounter. I took the cracker before the attack.

The next morning my husband told me I had been rebuking demons because he heard me cry out in the night against them while I was in my sleep. This dream was not because I was receiving the coronavirus; it was a warning dream, to tell the people that this virus is a demonic force and there is a way to deal with it spiritually, as well as biologically.

When I woke after the dream I continued to pray and God revealed to me that He wanted people in the body of Christ to unify and to confess where they have been in disunity with their brothers and sisters in Christ. Some have allowed judgment of others and self-righteousness to step in and open them up for disunity and discord in their own souls, families, churches, states and so forth.

You see, the body of Christ’s repentance is a shield against this enemy.

In 2 Corinthians 12:20, the apostle Paul shares with the church at Corinth, “For I fear that when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish. I fear there are debates, envying, wrath, strife, backbiting, whispering, arrogance, and disorder.”

Jesus reminded me that He came to bring unity and tear down the dividing wall. The way demons get access to our souls is when we allow our hearts to be divided and our souls to worship idols we have built in our lives to cover our needs for provision, protection and acceptance that we lost in the fall of man.

Through Jesus’ very own death, burial and resurrection, we have been saved, healed, redeemed, and made whole and if we want to see this virus eradicated and stopped from causing damage, we must ban together and seek forgiveness from Him. We must examine our lives for where we have upheld our thoughts, rules, laws and regulations higher than allegiance to Him.

In Matthew 4:8-10 (NIV), Jesus was tempted by the devil when Satan “took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their grandeur, and said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.’ Then Jesus said to him, ‘Get away from here, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”‘” So, Jesus’ response was that He worships God and serves Him only. So, is that our response?

Are we worshipping God or worshipping the fear of this virus? Have we made this bigger than what it really is in our minds so the fear of the demon of coronavirus has become an idol? Have we condemned others for how they are handling this virus because it may not be like we handle it? Have we cursed churches that are dealing one way with the virus, while others deal another way? Have we cursed states whose governors say one thing, while other states’ governors say another? Have we held our opinions higher than the truth? Are we judging others on all levels? If so, we need to repent and ask God to heal our land and our land begins first with our own souls.

Because of the effects of the fall of man, our souls are bent to producing idols from lack due to our fear of unmet needs for provision, protection and acceptance. These same needs were regained through our death, burial and resurrection in Jesus Christ, but we must apply these truths to our souls and renew our minds with the righteousness we receive in Christ.

In Romans 8:2-5, it says, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”

The Word tells us how the law of the spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death through the righteousness requirement of the law, which was met in us through Christ’s death, burial and Resurrection.

This week of Passover is considered by God to be remembered for generations to come (Ex. 12:14).

In Exodus 12:12-14, the Word says, “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am the Lord. The blood shall be to you for a sign on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt. This day shall be a memorial to you, and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord. Throughout your generations you shall keep it a feast by an eternal ordinance.”

We know Jesus practiced the Passover with His disciples. In Mark 14:12, the Word says, “On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, ‘Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?'” We also know that John the Baptist said Jesus was, “the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29).

The book of Exodus shows how, through the lives of the Hebrew people, God came to rescue His people who were under bondage to the gods of the Egyptians. So, are we under bondage today to the gods of the Egyptians? I say yes, from ancient strongholds that have dominion over certain regions and principalities of our world.

I believe this virus is a demonic stronghold from ancient Egypt still in existence today. After reading Jeremiah Johnson’s prophetic word on March 30, 2020, “Suspicion in the White House,” and Wanda Alger’s prophetic word on April 2, 2020, “Intercessors for America: Is It a Demonic Setback or a Divine Setup?” I noticed they both shared they saw rats in their dream.

I did some research and I found that rats are connected to ancient Egyptian gods and demonology. In Egypt there were false gods who wore Egyptian mouse heads. Rats are known to multiple quickly and considered in China to be fertile creatures, which is why this is the year of the rat in China. Rats are responsible for spreading the bubonic plague that killed so many in the Black Plagues of the 14th and 17th century.

Every year the prophetic cycles of the Hebrew calendar reveal that this is a time where God wants His people to remember how the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt mirrors our exit from slavery to sin by the shed blood of our Passover lamb, Jesus Christ. And every year the memorial of remembrance stands for the Passover. Our triune God is the one true and living God. This means the gods of Satan since the beginning of time will always try and deceive Yahweh’s children into worshipping them and not Him. One of the ways we worship false gods is when we choose to live in fear and not stand on the Word of God. Jesus stood in Matthew 4:8 when He was challenged by Satan and He said He would only worship and serve the one true God.

For Christians, the Passover is our communion and our remembrance of Jesus, our Passover Lamb, who shed His blood.

Luke 22:19-20 says, “Then He took the bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is My body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.’ In like manner, He took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood which is shed for you.'”

Today our God is crushing the gods of Egypt and sickness who have ancient strongholds in our universe and God says, “Stand and see My deliverance” (see Ex. 14:13). Our God is saying this to all false god principalities set up to cause destruction to His people: “I will deliver them!”

Exodus 14:13-14 says, “But Moses said to the people, ‘Fear not! Stand firm! And see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see again. The Lord shall fight for you, while you hold your peace.'”

So, how will our God fight for us? He will fight for us by our own faith in Him and His power, and His Son Jesus Christ! We, through our very own repentance and humility, will position ourselves to be saved, healed and redeemed. We cut off our ties to the enemy of our souls by recognizing in our minds we need to ask for forgiveness because we have worshipped things that are not Him. We must confess, repent, take Communion in remembrance of what He has done for us on the cross, and vow to worship Him and serve Him only as a family.

We serve a living God of unity and He wants unity in our souls, where our mind, will and emotions line up with the Word of God. Plus, He wants unity amongst the body of Christ. We must confess our judgment and prejudices of others and begin to allow God to heal and mend our individual hearts and as a nation, through our unity and taking Communion daily. This brings glory to God as His children remember Him and carry out His command to worship Him and serve Him only.

If we want to see deliverance from sickness, we must allow God to do battle for His people, but we must cooperate with Him. We must pray for unity and to cut off the head of this corona-enemy who wears his crown in arrogance, by determining to keep a heart before the Lord that is humble, repentant and willing to change.

Confess any ignorance on any matters, confess stone throwing toward your brother, confess your fear of sickness, and confess your poverty and lack mindset. Then remember Him and the Passover and take Communion, and He will deliver us. Remember what He did for us on the cross and how He freed us from sin, death and the grave. This is what we celebrate on Resurrection Sunday as He lives!

And because He lives, He has overcome the law of sin and death, so we must put this into practice! In Romans 7:4, the apostle Paul says, “So, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may be married to another, to Him who has been raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit for God.”

Our job as His children is to bear fruit for God because we are united with Him in spirit, soul and body personally, and as the body of Christ. Let us begin to speak life and worship Him, and watch the miracles of healing and deliverance take place. Remember our celebration of the one true and living God as He Resurrected as the King of the universe and over all principalities of darkness, and He lives today!
