Hispanic Christian Group Condemns Murder of Israeli Teens
The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference condemns the murder of the three innocent Israeli teenagers—Gilad Shaar, 16, Naftali Frenkel, 16 and Eyal Yafrach, 19—who were abducted by Palestinian terrorists. The hearts and prayers of the NHCLC are with the families and the nation of Israel during this time of mourning because of this tragic loss.
Reverend Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC, condemned the terrorist act.
“The U.S. government and the international community must stand with Israel as it seeks to bring justice to those responsible and to take any and all steps necessary to secure the future safety and wellbeing of all of its citizens,” Rodriguez says.
Israeli President Shimon Peres concurs with Rodriguez.
“Along with our deep sense of loss we remain committed to bringing the terrorists to justice,” Peres says. “Our war on terror will only increase and will not be weakened so that murderous terrorism like this will not dare to raise its head again.”
The NHCLC believes that the United States cannot continue providing aid to the Palestinian Authority government in which Hamas is a unity partner. Hamas is designated by the United States State Department as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. The NHCLC calls upon the United States government to cut off all funding to the jihadist terrorist government that threatens our ally Israel and its people.
Pastor Mario Bramnick, Regional Vice President of the NHCLC said, as Christians, that we have a moral, biblical and strategic obligation to stand united in efforts to protect the safety of the nation of Israel, our closest ally in the Middle East.
