Despite Its Popularity, Prince Harry Taking Heat for ‘Spare’

Prince Harry has set a record with his tell-all memoir “Spare.” The English-language version sold more than 1.4 million copies on launch day.
Penguin Random House, the prince’s publisher, said first full day sales of “Spare” represent the largest first-day sales total for any nonfiction book the company has ever published. Keep in mind that Penguin Random House is the world’s largest trade publisher, so that says a lot.
But did Harry’s memoir cross the line by revealing the underbelly of a family feud and, particularly what he describes as a troubled relationship with his brother William, heir to the throne?
