Franklin Graham Reminds Demonized Islamists What Philippians 2 Says
Franklin Graham has never been known to mince words. The fervent, effective prayers of this righteous man are impacting the nations—and this righteous man is as bold as a lion.
Now, he’s addressing the Easter massacre in Pakistan. According to a Reuters report, a suicide bomber killed at least 65 people, mostly women and children, at a park in Lahore on Sunday in an attack claimed by a Pakistani Taliban faction that said it had targeted Christians. More than 300 other people were wounded.
Consider Graham’s comments:
“Islam has reared its ugly head again, killing innocent Christians—mostly women and children—this Easter Sunday in Lahore, Pakistan. These families were celebrating a risen Savior who took our sins to the cross. Join me in praying for the hundreds injured and the families who have lost loved ones.
“As Christians we know that when death comes to someone who has trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they are ushered into the presence of our Heavenly Father and will live for eternity in His presence.
“The grave has no hold on the believer. The Muslim terrorist group spokesman said after this wicked attack, ‘It’s our message to the government that we will carry out such attacks again until sharia [Islamic law] is imposed in the country.’ Muslims want Sharia Law. They want the whole world to bow to Islam—that won’t happen.
“The Word of God tells us that one day “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11). I serve a risen Savior!”

Why is Graham so bold? Because he sees an Islamic storm coming against America. He has strong discernment and enough boldness to go toe to toe with the principalities and powers that have targeted Christians for destruction.
Franklin Graham is saying what most politicians, pastors, news pundits and others refuse to say: Islam is not a religion of peace.
“For Muslims, peace comes only through submission to Islam. When they speak of peace, they mean submission to their religion,” Graham says. “Worldwide, tens of thousands of men, women and children have been slaughtered in the name of Allah, under the bloody flag of Islam.”
Once again, I’m making an even more fervent call for intercessors to rise up and pray for Graham day and night. The enemy would like nothing more than to silence this mouthpiece for God who is confronting and pushing back darkness in our generation. Likewise, those who subscribe to anti-Christ agendas are raging against his voice. Saints, let’s make it a priority to lift up Graham in prayer, wage spiritual warfare against the attacks on his life and bless his ministry. And while you’re at it, pray for President Obama too. Amen?
