Potty-Mouthed Princesses Dropping F-Bombs for Feminism

Share:

I am absolutely against exploiting women, but please explain to me how prancing potty-mouthed elementary school-aged princesses in front of a video camera dropping F-bombs to fight feminism is anything less?

My jaw literally dropped open watching a video of five sweet-faced little girls serving as poster children in a campaign to empower feminism. The girls, between ages 6 and 13, were dressed up in princess costumes and spewing explicatives that I refuse to print here.

These little darlings were vehemently angry about the way society treats women, pointing out pay inequality, sexual assault, a hyper-focus on looks and even rape. The children, for example, cited chilling statistics that I’ve heard many times before: 1 in 5 girls will be raped or sexually assaulted by a man. That is tragic and disgusting. Nevertheless, filling young girls’ mouths with filth for shock value is not going to stop pedophiles and rapists.

SMH at FCKH8

Even as I write this, I am still shaking my head. Why would any Mommy or Daddy put their precious little girl in the hands of a feminist agenda that promotes sexual immorality? See, FCKH8, the company behind the offensive presentation entitled “F-Bombs for Feminism,” isn’t just about feminism. The for-profit firm also celebrates the LGBT agenda with T-shirts that act as “mini-billboards for change.”

So, essentially, FCKH8 is making money off these little girls, using them to sell T-shirts. I’m against racism and sexism, too, and I understand the inherent logic behind shocking publicity campaigns that wake people up to injustice. But committing injustice in the name of justice is false justice. The means do not justify the end.

FCKH8’s “F-Bombs for Feminism” campaign may amuse many—it’s being trumpeted as “brilliant,” “adorable” and “empowering” in the liberal media—but it’s also hypocritical. These young girls may be making a point, but they are doing it with hateful speech and aggression in their hearts planted by an agenda that is anything but godly.

And Jesus Is Offensive?

Jesus came to set the captives free. Jesus stands against racism and sexism. Jesus loves everybody, and we’re all equal in His eyes. But putting offensive words in the mouths of babes, planting seeds of hateful speech in their hearts and pitting them against men is not ultimately going to produce freedom (or equality) in the next generation.

I agree that pay inequality is unjust. I weep over the realities of rape and sexual assault against young girls. I think sexism stinks, and I stand against pay inequality. But setting children to launch verbal attacks against men and encouraging potty-mouths for shock value isn’t going to, as the video suggests, get “society to clean up its act.” If cussing up a storm would prevent girls from getting raped, I’d do it myself.

The answer is Jesus. The answer is changing the hearts of a generation—turning the hearts of the children back to the Father. The answer is preaching the gospel of truth to the masses so they can get saved, healed and set free of criminal intents, wrong mindsets and, yes, even potty-mouths. Yet somehow, some way, the gospel of Christ has become more offensive to many than a 6-year-old dropping F-bombs in the name of equality. God help us.
