Urgent Prayer Organized for C. Peter Wagner’s Wife
Peter Wagner’s wife, Doris, was admitted to the hospital a couple of days ago with a severe foot infection, Cindy Jacobs tells us.
“This is a very serious situation. She is scheduled for surgery Monday to take out a screw that has come loose in her foot from prior repairs,” Jacobs says. “In addition, she has a history of difficulty with the way she responds to antibiotics—they have trouble with waking her up!”
Wagner, whose husband recently went on to be with the Lord, is a diabetic, and the foot has quite a bit of metal from past reconstructive surgeries. When this is the case, infections such as this one tend to “travel up” the metal. This is, in fact, what happened to her on her left leg, and they had to immobilize the knee. This infection is in her good leg and foot, Jacobs reports. “She has been on three very aggressive antibiotics, but now her knee area is showing redness as well. In addition, she isn’t feeling well and has been having chills,” Jacobs urges. “Please pray for a complete healing for her. This is doubly difficult because she just lost Peter on Oct. 21st. We want her to be healed and home before Christmas. Let’s decree together that Doris is healed by the stripes of Jesus!”
