Author: Voters Should Cast Their Ballots for ‘the Greater Good’

It’s often been said that in elections, Christians usually have to choose the lesser of two evils.

In 2016, that logic has led to a growing sentiment that Christians should perhaps sit out the general election rather than be forced to vote for evil. But during a recent radio interview, WND Managing Editor David Kupelian said Christians should stop thinking like that.

“We’re all evil, guys,” he said on American Family Radio’s “Today’s Issues” program. “Sin is evil. Every president who’s ever lived, including George Washington and Ronald Reagan, has had some evil, some sin in them. Knock it off with ‘the lesser of two evils.’ The lesser of two evils is the greater good.”

Kupelian said that in an election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, there is a stark contrast. On one hand, he said, Trump is a “decent man” who has raised “a decent family” and has done well as a businessman. On the other, Clinton is “corrupt and dishonest.”

“There is really a clear choice this time,” he added. “One of those two is going to be president, and we need to man up and not say, ‘Oh, it’s not perfect, so I’m gonna stay home and not vote.'”
