Get Informed: Nonpartisan Voter Guides Available for Download
Be prepared when you head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3. Voter guides are available for state and federal elections.
“In this final week leading up to the election, our focus is education through election voter guide resources,” said John Graves, CEO of Million Voices. “Research shows that 75% of voters rely on a nonpartisan voter guide to help them navigate elections, and as fake news dominates the media, trusted guides are needed more than ever.”
The organization is distributing nonpartisan, constitutionally vetted and pastor-approved voter guides. There is also a 2020 Political Party Platform Guide, which lists key election and life issues: like the sanctity of life, religious liberty, gun control, education, immigration and gender policies, including whether the Republican and Democratic parties support or oppose each issue. There are also Scriptures to help readers better understand a candidate’s position as it pertains to the Bible.
“Vision America and Million Voices vetted candidates on the issues not only at the presidential level, but for the Senate and many state races,” said Stephen Strang, founder of Charisma Media “We are not able to vet every candidate in every state, but we trust Vision America and we offer this to you for your information and ask that you pass it on.”
In the organization’s mission to educate and mobilize people of faith to vote, Graves cites Matt. 5:16: “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
As Christians enter the polls, they enter with the light of Jesus Christ.
“I regard voting as the most sacred right of free men and women,” Ronald Reagan, 40th president of the United States, said.
“Every vote matters,” Graves said. {eoa}
