Project Veritas Releases First Installment of New Investigative Series
Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe warned CNN and other purveyors of “fake news” in the liberal mainstream media that his organization was watching them a few months ago.
Now, he has released the first installment in a new investigative series titled “American Pravda” in which he aims to expose those who are disseminating lies about President Donald Trump. In the video, he demonstrates that those involved know what they are reporting isn’t true, or at the very least isn’t supported by established facts.
CNN Senior Producer John Bonifield is captured in the video, admitting he doesn’t entirely believe his network’s narrative that the president colluded with the Russian government, or that Russia interfered with the 2016 presidential election. In fact, he’s yet to see any evidence to support those claims.
“I haven’t seen any good enough evidence to show that the president committed a crime,” he said. “I know a lot of people don’t like him and they’d like to see him get kicked out of office … [but] I think the president is probably right to say, like, ‘Look, you are witch-hunting me … you have no real proof’.”
Even more explosively, Bonifield shares that CNN’s coverage of the “Russia Narrative” has been good for its bottom line. And, he said, CNN CEO Jeff Zucker personally directed the network to pursue Trump-Russia stories at the expense of other stories.
This would beg the question of whether or not CNN employees are being encouraged to come up with articles like the one it retracted over the weekend.
“He said, ‘Good job everybody covering the Climate Accords, but we’re done with it,'” Bonifield said. “‘Let’s get back to Russia.'”
“Like, we don’t have any giant proof,” the producer added. “If it was something really good, it’d leak.” {eoa}
