One of the most famous evangelicals in the country has joined FOX News today as a contributor, and is launching a new weekly podcast this week.

Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander and one of the stars of the popular cable TV program Duck Dynasty, is joining the FOX News system of television and radio entities as a contributor on matters of faith and politics. According to The Daily Beast, he will be a paid member of the staff.

The announcement was made last week by FOX, and includes the production of a weekly 45-minute podcast titled “The Willie Robertson Podcast.” The program will be a “premium service” on the FOX News Radio website with a monthly or annual subscription fee required.

The terms of the deal weren’t announced by FOX. Duck Dynasty is among the most popular programs on cable TV, and is now in its ninth season.
